Q: Is it safe to give online?
Yes. In many ways giving online is safer than writing a check because an electronic gift cannot be lost. The security of the system is continually managed by Fellowship One.
Q: Does it matter which Internet Browser I use?
No, in most cases.
Q: What type of bank accounts can I give from?
You can give online from your checking account, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express.
Q: Can I review my donation history online?
Yes. The site will allow you to view two calendar years of your contributions history given either online, text2give, or otherwise. Once you’ve created an account, you will be able to give immediately. However, for security purposes, before you can see any past contributions, your online account must be connected with your previous information. This is a one-time process when you initially create your account, which normally takes up to 48 business hours. After that, you can view your history at any time. For more information, see our security policy.
Q: Are there any fees involved with giving online?
Not unless you choose to pay the bank processing fees. We give you the option to give your donation amount only or to give your donation amount and pay the processing fees. If you choose to pay the fees you will be shown the total amount of your donation with the fees included. Giving via ACH/eChecks results in a simple and less expensive fee of $0.25 regardless of the amount given.
There is no pressure, either way we are thankful for you generousity and obedience to God in supporting the ministry.
Q: Can I make a one-time contribution?
Yes. The system allows you the option of either making a one-time contribution or setting up recurring contribution.
Q: If I want to set-up a recurring gift, what are my options for frequency of my gift?
For recurring gifts, you have the option of giving weekly, every other week, twice monthly, or monthly.
Q: Can I change the amount or the frequency of my scheduled recurring contribution once I have set it up?
Yes. You can change or cancel your contribution at any time prior to the date it is scheduled. Simply go to church center, go to your profile, select “My Giving”, and select “Recurring Donations” to make the necessary changes you desire.
Q: Will I receive contribution statements from the church?
No. However, you will be able to print the last two calendar year-end contribution statements from the My Giving section of your profile in Church Center. These statements are suitable for tax purposes.
Q: When will contributions be taken from my account?
Contributions will be taken from your specified bank account within 48 business hours of the date you requested. This time frame allows time for the contribution to process through your bank and the church’s bank. If the date of your contribution falls on a weekend or a holiday, the transaction will be initiated on the next banking day.
Q: Can I designate my contribution to a particular cause?
Yes. You can designate your gift to go toward tithes and offerings or one of our other designated funds shown in the drop down list.
Q: How will I know that I set up my contribution correctly?
Immediately after submitting your contribution, you will see a confirmation message that your request has been successfully submitted. You will also receive an e-mail of your scheduled contribution verifying your donation, unless you have turned off email notifications.
Q: Will I be able to give online to special church campaigns?
Yes. During times when these campaigns are occurring, you will be able to give contributions to support the given initiative or campaign.
Q: Will I be able to give using a debit card?
Yes, you can use any debit check card with a Visa or MasterCard logo. ATM only debit cards are not accepted through the Planning Center Online System due to the sensitivity of securely requesting a Personal Identification Number (PIN).
Q: I have additional questions about online giving. Who can I talk to?
For any questions, concerns or comments about the online giving system, please
contact us using the online form. You will receive a response from our staff as soon as possible.
